I am a The Hague based interdisciplinary artist and researcher. Through intuitive material experimentation and embodied research I explore how the body relates to its environment, focussing on space, rhythm and habit. During the recent years I developed a fascination with lines. Researching them in an architectural context has allowed me to intervene with patterns of movement suggested by my built environment, welcoming a collaboration with contemporary dancers. My work often involves the use of textile, which I considers the craft of lines. The technicalities and performative aspects of textile are an important sources of inspiration for my work. Yarn by yarn, I unravel the fabric of being.
